Step Up. "When you have a dream, you have to fight for it."

Everyone deserves a chance to follow their dreams, but some people only get one shot. Tyler Gage is a rebel from the wrong side of Baltimore's tracks--and the only thing that stands between him and an unfulfilled life are his dreams of one day making it out of there. Nora is a privileged ballet dancer attending Baltimore's ultra-elite Maryland School of the Arts--and the only thing standing in the way of her obviously brilliant future is finding a great dance partner for her senior showcase. When trouble with the law lands Tyler with a community service gig at Maryland School of the Arts, he arrives as an angry outsider, until his skills as a gifted street dancer draw Nora's attention. Now, as sparks fly between them, both on and off stage, Tyler realizes he has just one performance to prove that he can step up to a life far larger than he ever imagined. - http://movies.yahoo.com/

This movie I really loved. It is about dancing and going for your dreams. I also liked this movie because unlike other dance movies, they hired real dancers to act, and not hired actors or actresses to dance. The message of the movie is something i really liked. It said that when you have a dream, you have to fight for your dream. Not everyone gets a second chance, so when we have an opportunity to achieve our dream, we have to take a chance and do whatever it takes to make it there. Nobody else can take you to your dream, you can only depend on yourself for the work you have to do. One small but good thing can make a big difference in our life, so let us all make the right choices in life may it be big or small.

Dancing is one thing, but dancing with the HEART is something bigger.

A workaholic architect, who has been overlooking his family in favor of his career, comes across a universal remote that allows him to perform TiVo-like functions on his life, such as pausing events or fast-forwarding over them. When the remote begins creating its own memory and choosing what to fast-forward over, the man sees how much of his personal life has passed him by and realizes the importance of spending more time with his family.

I really loved this movie. For me, this shows how we should really look into our lives. When we keep on skipping the parts of our lives that we do not like, we may end up having so many regrets. We should also see that family always go first before anything else. Our family is the only part of us that we can really depend on anytime.

I also liked the way the movie is plotted. I really liked the fact that this movie made me laugh real hard, but in the end still touched me. This made me realize that every moment we have should be cherished and not let the chances to just pass by. Who knows when these lives we borrowed will be taken aay from us.

=) "Will you still love me in the morning?" "Forever and ever, babe." =)

Yes. Another quarter, another start. I will have another chance to give comments about the media. I will mostly comment about the media I love this quarter. Just a few negative comments. I hope you also like the things I love.

There are many kinds of media. Many of them are really good. I hope that we will enjoy exploring the different kinds of media. Be open minded while commenting about the media and keep on doing what we do best, keep on watching the television, movies, listen to music, and be aware of the other forms of media around us.
